Our Approach
Many hearing centers focus solely on the sale of hearing aids, rather than on testing the patient, determining the degree of loss, and then looking at all treatment options. At E.A.R., our goal is finding a solution that best serves each patient. Physician referrals remain a major source of patient referrals to our facility. Achieving the trust of our referring physicians is as important as maintaining a professional, stress free environment for our patients. At Enhanced Auditory Resources we see hearing loss as a medical condition, rather than a sales opportunity.

How We Work
Our hearing professionals take time to:
- Get to know you and your unique needs
- Help you realize the impact your hearing loss is having on you
- Identify and help you overcome obstacles that may have kept you from treating your hearing loss
- Guide you through the many options that advancements in medicine and technology have made possible
- Answer your questions with clarity and compassion so you ultimately choose, and use, the right solution for you
- Help you get used to your new technology and make adjustments as needed
- Work with you during the transition as your brain adjusts to hearing and interpreting sounds again
- Help you get back in touch with people and experience life to the fullest!
What to Expect
When patients enter our facility, they are greeted by a friendly staff member and asked to fill out a basic information form. After carefully reviewing the information, one of our highly trained hearing professionals will conduct a thorough exam, specifically designed to accomplish two goals:
- Assess each patient’s hearing loss, ruling out certain treatable medical conditions that would require referrals.
- Develop a tailored solution for the patient by getting to know them on a personal level — their jobs, families, hobbies and interests.
Real-life Simulation
Using E.A.R.'s simulation technology, we test each patient with their new device in real-life settings, such as the dinner table, restaurants, driving and religious services. This enables us to make the appropriate adjustments to ensure that they are comfortable hearing in their everyday settings.
We also understand that hearing loss can deeply affect people's relationships with their families, friends and co-workers. For this reason, we encourage loved ones to participate in our real-life simulation and experience first-hand what it feels like to suffer from hearing loss.
Ongoing Support
Unlike visiting an optometrist for new glasses and walking away with 20/20 vision, hearing loss correction is a more complex and personal process. The brain needs time to gradually adjust to hearing sound again. At E.A.R., we stay in touch with our patients, to provide them with the ongoing support and tools they need to make a smooth, easy transition.
